After years in the UK, with numerous coffee shops visits, something became hard to ignore: Honduran coffee, from one of the world’s leading producing countries, is still a rare find. Ulúa Coffee is here to change that.
Honduran speciality coffee has so much to give. Grown at altitude across a remarkable variety of regions, it brings sweetness, depth and real character, from chocolate and caramel to bright, juicy fruit. We’re passionate about this coffee, and we want more of the UK to taste it.
It starts with the people who grow it. We’re building long-term relationships with a carefully chosen group of producers, starting in Marcala and exploring Copán, Santa Bárbara, Intibucá and El Paraíso. The aim is to work alongside them, season after season, so that the people and the land behind every lot can thrive for years to come. We’ve also taken our own first steps into farming, with a small farm in Chinacla, La Paz and a first harvest due in 2027.
Each cup is a small step towards making Honduran coffee a familiar name in the UK, and an invitation to get curious about the country behind it.
